SCA Recycling Deutschland's main mission is to secure the supply of Recovered Fibre (RCF) to the various SCA paper mills in Germany and in other European countries through the SCA Recycling Network.
SCA Recycling Deutschland is responsible for the full supply of RCF to SCA Packaging Aschaffenburg and Witzenhausen as well as for the SCA Hygiene mill in Kostheim. SCA Recycling Deutschland has own stock volumes in these mills which are settled on a consignment basis.
The office is located in the Bavarian foothills between Munich and Salzburg.
16 employees take care for a trouble free handling in administration, logistics, service, accounting and purchasing.
In the year 2007 the sales volume was nearly 1.4 million tons of which more than 10% was sold to third party (non SCA) customers. SCA Germany is planning to increase its third party sales in line with SCA Recycling's long term strategy.
The suppliers are waste management companies and SCA Packaging Plants from Germany and partly from European neighbouring countries like Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland and Denmark.
SCA Recycling Deutschland is also involved in paper industry projects like the introduction of a unique quality system as well as a bale identification system.
